South Fork Wind
South Fork Wind is New York’s first commercial-scale offshore wind farm, consisting of 12 turbines and an offshore substation. South Fork Wind generates 132 MW of clean power, which will be used to power 70,000 homes on Long Island.
South Fork aims to enhance user experience and optimize search engine visibility through the design and development of a new website. The project includes the creation of two unique landing pages, one for South Fork Wind and another for Revolution Wind. Each wind farm will have its dedicated section on the main website, ensuring clear and distinct information presentation. A map will be included to show the locations of both wind farms. Additionally, a pop-up feature will allow users to select either Massachusetts or Rhode Island and then choose the relevant wind farm, providing a tailored and user-friendly navigation experience.
